In College Kings the main focus of the story is about choosing which fraternity to join and BROing it up with your bros, just so much bro time with your fellow brotato chips. I had zero interest in BROing or any of the story, so I basically just punched and yelled my way through every decision as quickly as possible. I eventually passed over the Frogs Fraternity and the Wolves Fraternity to become a member of the Apes Fraternity.
Heck yeah Ape bros, toss me a pack of Camel Lights and let’s slam shots of Jagermeister and pound Natty Light……..oh wait……..I’ve got to get with the zoomie times, I mean toss me a Mocha Cappuccino Latte E-Cig and let’s slam shots of Fireball and pound Blueberry-Lime Hard Seltzer!!! ARRRRGH!!!!
There is also some weird fight club storyline going on, and the quick time combat in this game is so terrible that I'd have better luck at winning a round of real life fight club, luckily there is an option to press a single button to instantly win the fight.
All of the broads look pretty similar and are all thrown into the picture pretty quickly, that combined with their bland personalities you have no idea who is who, unless they have a different hair color. On top of that, some of the visuals are very unpolished and quite disturbing to look at.
Pros:
-Act I is free.
Cons:
-Bland story.
-So many bros.
-Will have to continuously pay for each additional act.
-The achievements are broken at the time of review.
